| Geared up for action |
MY close friends Jamie Wyatt, 18, and Nathan Parody, 18, have set upon going homeless for charity.
The pair have raised nearly £1000 each to go homeless for three nights in central London.
Cash raised will go to the National Osteoporosis Society which specialises in helping people with the bone disease.
Jamie, from Swale, who suffers with osteoporosis, was excited, yet nervous about the task: "It's going to be an experience, but we thought it was different to other methods of raising money."
"Not enough people know about the seriousness and severity of the disease in the UK, and just how many people suffer with it."
One in two women and one in five men over the age of 50 in the UK will fracture a bone, mainly as a result of osteoporosis. The cause of the disease is still not fully understood.
The duo will arrive back home Wednesday lunchtime, with what is sure to be a lot of sleep to make up.
